  Pressburger Quartett ,

is a string quartet consisting of talented musicians, graduated at the Academy of Music in
different important musical metropolis in Europe (Paris, Vienna, Luxembourg, Maastricht) -
- all passionate about chamber music. From its beginning (in the year 1997) the quartet in
acted many very successful concerts on the domestic and international stages (Germany,
Austria, France, Luxembourg, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland).
   The Quartet and its members actively took part on many of the Master classes in solo
and chamber music with personalities such as Norbert Brainin (Amadeus Quartett), Sándor
Devich and László Mezö (Bartók Quartet), Günter Pichler (Alban Berg Quartett), Reiner
Schmidt (Hagen Quartet), Milan  Škampa (Smetanovo kvarteto) and Škampovo kvarteto.
   Pressburger Quartett was two years in postgradual chamber class of Univ. Prof. Johannes
Meissl (Artis Quartett Wien) at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna.
The artistic profile of the quartet was also in a considerable way formed by the members
of the Moyzes Quartet.
    The repertoire which has Pressburger Quartetts, includes musical works from baroque
to the music of the 20th century. The quartet is also collaborating with contemporary
composers and interpretive it participated on introducing several worldwide premieres of
their works.
